Yabukita, the cultivar from which this tea is derived, represents over 70% of all tea produced in Japan, making its flavour well-known and beloved across the country as the classic taste of green tea.
What sets this particular tea apart is its organic origins in the mountainous regions of Kirishima, and crafted with care by two sisters. It exudes warmth and vitality, distinguishing it from others.
Being an organic product, the leaves are more fibrous, allowing them to withstand higher brewing temperatures (80°C/176°F).
This tea is gently steamed to preserve the leaf shape, resulting in a brew with bright yellow hue. It delivers a clean, refreshing bitterness with a subtle hint of sweetness.
