Shipping policy

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Once the order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Shipping within Canada

We currently ship across Canada using Canada Post or UPS. We offer $10.00 flat rate shipping fee across Canada. Shipping is free for purchases over $75.

Please note:

  • Delivery times may vary depending on location.
  • Shipping delays may occur during peak seasons or due to weather conditions.
Shipping to the United States (Temporary Pause) 

At this time, we’ve temporarily paused shipping to the United States. Due to extended processing times, food items—including tea—have been returned to the sender. To avoid inconvenience, we’ve decided to suspend U.S. shipping until conditions improve.

This pause applies only to U.S. destinations. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this page as soon as shipping resume.

International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping outside of Canada. We’ll share updates here if international shipping becomes available in the future.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Green Tea Shop is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 12 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@thegreenteashop.com with your name and order number, and we’ll be happy to help.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

We do not accept returns on tea. For teaware, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition. Refunds will be issued for the item price, minus return shipping costs. Please refer to our full return policy for details.

If your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at info@thegreenteashop.com with your order number and photos of the item’s condition. We review these cases individually and will do our best to find a satisfactory solution. Please refer to our full return policy.
