Yabukita Kamairicha | 釜炒り茶やぶきた
When we first opened our shop, this tea was the initial addition to our collection and has since won the hearts of both us and our customers.
Kamairicha, a pan-fired tea, represents less than 0.3% of Japan's total tea production. Ureshino stands out as one of the few regions that continue to produce Kamairicha, and this specific tea captured our attention with its unique flavour profile, evoking notes of sesame and toast, complemented by a very subtle hint of smokiness at the finish.
We find ourselves continually drawn to its clean taste throughout the day. This tea is incredibly adaptable; it can be brewed with boiling water to accentuate its aroma, or prepared as a refreshing cold brew during warmer months.
